"The good news here" is not "the death, burial, and resurrection," but "The kingdom of God is near." It's the opportunity to enter into God's reign, to live life as he meant for it to be lived. But the requirements for entering into God's reign are repentance and faith. Help me Lord to turn from unbelief to belief, from self-focus, to You-focus.
