Meet the team

Born at an early age in the East End of London, Darren was hardened by the realities of gangland culture. Desperate to escape into a world of hope he pleaded with his parents to find a safer haven to live. At two months old he began his existence as an exiled cockney. He now spends his days pondering about WordLive and shining the shoes of guvners.

Eddie works with our amazing team of freelancers to get brilliant multimedia created for WordLive and when he's especially lucky, he even gets to create some things himself. Eddie is always slightly late for work thanks to his two small children and his love of his bed (or whatever the excuse is on any given day!)

Lizzie sorts out the Classic content for WordLive, and makes sure the podcasts get recorded. She also nags the rest of the team to make sure everything else is done on time! Lizzie is often distracted in the office by Darren and Eddie giggling at something funny they’ve found on YouTube.

Helen presses a button and a month later inspiring, creative creations come back to her from writers. In the meantime she looks for pretty pictures on the Internet. Occasionally her dulcet tones can be heard on WordLive audios but she prefers to keep this a secret.
